About US & THEM
US & THEM is an authentic and empathetic documentary that challenges the stereotypes facing people experiencing homelessness and shows their humanity and resilience. While the film takes place in Victoria, B.C., its message resonates here in Clarington and communities across Canada. The film aims to shed light on the realities of homelessness, challenge stereotypes, and inspire action and understanding.
Content warning: US & THEM contains sensitive and potentially distressing material related to homelessness, mental health, addiction, and trauma. Some scenes may include graphic descriptions and emotional narratives that could be triggering for viewers. We encourage attendees to care for their well-being and step out if needed during the screening. There are support resources available if needed.
Join the conversation, listen, and help build a more compassionate and inclusive community in Clarington. Learn more: www.clarington.net/USandTHEM
