Come experience the heart of local food and community at the Bowmanville Farmers Market, the only 2-day farmers market of its kind in the region, bringing fresh, local goods to the community every Friday and Saturday.

Fridays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex (2440 Durham Regional Hwy 2)
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM in historic downtown Bowmanville, in front of Central Public School (120 Wellington Street)

Shop a wide variety of locally grown produce, honey, flowers, fresh baked goods, handmade crafts, ready-to-go meals, and unique artisan items.

The Saturday market has a distinctive historic charm, set along the streets of downtown Bowmanville, making it the perfect way to start your weekend.

On Saturday, August 30 at 8:30 PM, we’re bringing a must-see comedy show to Volt Raceway in Bowmanville. Zabrina Douglas headlines.

Come celebrate Labour Day Weekend with laughs.

Zabrina Douglas, a stand-up comedian and registered nurse from Brampton, has been making audiences laugh for over 14 years. She has performed alongside renowned comedians like Gilbert Gottfried and Luenell and made her Just for Laughs Montreal debut with a Gala performance. In 2020, she gained wider recognition as the headliner of Laughter from the Frontlines, a virtual comedy show featuring healthcare workers. She also created Things Black Girls Say, a live show at Toronto’s Comedy Bar, which she later turned into a comedy album. Her album Things Black Girls Say was nominated for Comedy Album of the Year at the 2023 Juno Awards. A mother of five, Douglas blends her experiences in healthcare, motherhood, and Black Canadian culture into her sharp and relatable comedy.

This is a live comedy show — nothing is censored, and nothing is off-limits! The comedians say what they want, and if that ruffles your feathers, well… that’s on you. If you’re easily offended, might be best to stay home and yell at your TV instead—otherwise, buckle up and enjoy the ride!

The CFM has farmers/growers selling : fruit, vegetables, flowers, beef and chicken, honey, mushrooms and maple syrup. The CFM also has a wide variety of baked goods for sale including : croissants, breads, bagels, cookies, pies, tarts, squares, pretzels, cake, loafs, macarons, strudel, sausage rolls, meat pies and more! Other vendors sell : preserves, pickles, jam, wine, jelly, hot sauce, fudge, skincare products that they make themselves (often from their own produce). Weekly, crafters are represented by crocheters, sewers and knitters. If you need a breather from all that local goodness, then pay a visit to Main Squeeze, our custom lemonade vendor!
