On Saturday, June 28, at 8:30 PM, we’re bringing a must-see comedy show to Volt Raceway in Bowmanville. Foad HP headlines.
Foad HP is an award winning Iranian-born actor, comic, and writer from Toronto. Foad has performed at Just for Laughs, Andy Kindler’s the Alternative Show, Stand Up NBC, SiriusXM Top Comic, has taped a performance for Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and was the winner of the Toronto Comedy Brawl. He has released two stand up albums, Persian of Colour (2021) and Bisexual Healing (2023).
He was also a writer on the 25th season of This Hour Has 22 Minutes, his original sketch comedy show “Off Colour,” was a finalist at CBC’s Stand Up and Pitch at Just for Laughs, and he was chosen for BIPOC TV & Film’s Sitcom Workshop with Ins Choi, as well as BIPOC TV & Film’s Kid’s TV Writing Bootcamp. This is a live comedy show — nothing is censored, and nothing is off-limits! The comedians say what they want, and if that ruffles your feathers, well… that’s on you. If you’re easily offended, might be best to stay home and yell at your TV instead—otherwise, buckle up and enjoy the ride!
