It’s almost that time of year where we get ready to lace our runners and support youth mental health. This year mark’s the 11th annual RBC Race for the Kids in Toronto, all in support of Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project (FNP). FNP is a non-profit program that has a team of experts who help youth, aged 13-26 experiencing mental health concerns, and their families navigate the system. To date, over $20 million has been raised from the race, in support of FNP, but with the number of youth reaching out for help significantly increasing, there is still much more to be done.
Returning on Saturday, September 23, at Mel Lastman Square, RBC Race for the Kids invites all to participate in support of youth mental health. Proceeds from the race will benefit Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project (FNP), a non-profit program assisting youth aged 13-26, and their families who are facing mental health and/or addiction issues. The program, located in the GTA, is designed to partner with youth and their families throughout their journey, assisting them in accessing the most suitable care options for their specific needs.
