Powerful Tools for Caregivers - Central East Self-Management Program- Home and Community Care Support Services

Each Wednesday for 6 weeks, this small group workshop provides the skills, tools and knowledge to help caregivers understand how to care for their own health while taking on what can be an overwhelming role of a caregiver. Topics include utilizing community resources, communication skills, managing stress and understanding how to deal with difficult emotions. Each week includes the creation of a weekly plan to help support your wellness. A wonderful  free resource Textbook is included.
