8:00 AM | Canadian Tire Motorsport Park 3233 Concession Road #10 Clarington, Ontario, L1C 3K6
An international field of world-class sports car drivers – and four Canadians - is set to do battle at Canada’s Legendary Home of Motorsports in the Chevrolet Grand Prix, July 11-13 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).
This is one of the country’s premier motorsport events, featuring the only Canadian stop for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for exotic closed-wheel prototypes and GT sports cars, including iconic brands like Corvette, Acura, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Mustang, and Porsche.
Off-track, the entertainment and value for fans this summer weekend is second to none. The CTMP Marketplace is located adjacent to the paddock in Turn 1, with interactive displays and the kid-friendly Canadian Tire Action Zone. The latest in race clothing and souvenirs can be found at the CTMP Official Merchandise Trailer, and fans can tame their thirst and hunger at the Trackside Grill, along with other food and drink options, including the trackside Turn 1 Beer Garden. Fans also have access to the race team paddocks and driver autograph sessions.
One of the most unique features in all of sports is the “Open Grid Walk” on Sunday over the lunch hour. Fans are invited to pit lane just moments before the green flag drops, where they can walk among the race cars and enjoy some of the pre-race pageantry along with the drivers and crew.
All of this is included with the weekend admission ticket. Three-day weekend SuperTickets and Camping passes are available for purchase online until Wednesday, July 9, at midnight and then at the gates throughout the weekend. Children 16 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
