Event Details:

Join members of the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area Management Advisory Committee for the annual Christmas Bird Count in the following Newcastle areas: Samuel Wilmot Nature Area, Wilmot Creek Retirement Community, the communities of Newcastle, Port of Newcastle and Bond Head, and the surrounding countryside.

There are TWO ways to participate:

1. Be assigned as an individual or part of a team, to cover a specific portion of any of the above areas.

AND/OR

2. Count birds that visit your backyard feeders at a time of your choosing on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
